Egyptian museum tour-Cairo

Overview:

First known place to house the Egyptian antiquities was built in Boulak in 1891, then the antiquities moved to the palace of Ismail Pasha in Giza.

The new building of the Egyptian Museum was built in 1897 and is situated at the famous  Tahrir square in Cairo.

The Museum opened at 1902, and since this time, considered as the largest museum in Egypt. and has 107 halls. At the ground floor there are the huge statues. The upper floor houses small statues, jewels, Tutankhamen treasures and the mummies.

Trip itinerary:

• Pick up from your hotel in Cairo.

• Drive to the Egyptian Museum.

• Tour inside the Museum for approx. two hours.

• After museum tour, you will have a walk at Tahrir squire, the simple of the Egyptian revolution 2011.

• Drive to the river Nile, then enjoy the adventure of Sailing/Motor boat in the River Nile.

• Open Buffet lunch, served at Nile view restaurant.

• By the end of Museum tour, you will drive back to your hotel in Cairo.
